Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a range of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition, she was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara first became known for her acting in the year 1974 when she was a member of The Second City in Toronto. Together with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main ensemble cast for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She received praise from critics for both her writing abilities and acting and was honored with an Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
